Anyway, hi everyone, hope your all well..... now life has settled down, I should be around a bit more!!!! And whats all this talk about SS's!!! Count me in as well!!!!
What is a rock cake?
I've just got in from walking the dogs, and came upstairs to relax, Maddi has escaped from downstairs and come to cuddle up with me
Bless her
If you have me for SS, I like bright colours (but not fluorescent) hot pink, red, orange etc. I don't mind if horsey or not horsey.
Am a very fussy eater so best not to buy me edible treats or drink.
Am not too fussy with anything else though
Yes tikino i went out and bought "From foal to full grown" I am now an expert, one question it does not answer is will the baby get shaken about when she gallops over for her bucket as she seems very lively for a pregnant mare. I have to keep reminding my self that she is only coming up to the 60 day stage and does not yet feel pregnant. I will be having a blood test done in a few weeks to make sure its still there, stud man said she had 2 good scans and not to worry. But i was told they go quiet when in foal and she is raring to go. As for the ss my chosen one as yet to post any hints so i,m racking my brains.
as for foal to fully grown this is an exellent book and well worth the money. she will be fine galloping about just think how many miles they gallop in the wild. my mare has just weaned one foal and is 127 days gone with her next and has been anything but quite right up until the day she gave birth she was her usual flighty self. if anything hse was a bit more of a sook. try not to worry to much as if she has had two good scans that is an exellent start.
i don't know where to start with my ss and as for me i am a fuzzy eater and allergic to smelly stuff so gift sets are out also i don't drink alcohol but anything else will do as not fuzzy lol
I suppose i am getting paranoid about the infoal bit, she left skid marks today that were 6ft long she is 20 going on 3. I am not a serious breeder this will be my first and last, i hope i,m breeding from her for all the right reasons, she is not loopy so is a joy to ride, never lame and as good clean legs and now that she is getting on in years thought it would be lovely to have my future horse from her. Don,t get me wrong she is not a competition/show horse just your average irish cob. She is so obedient so when she does test my riding it,s almost funny because she looks so guilty when she feels me getting worried.
The stud and my vet both said they believed she had at least two foals in the past. Thats what i kept thinking but snoops will have the vet on stand by i really did not think she would get in foal.
sounds a lovely horse and foal will make the perfect horse of the future. they do get you paranoid at times esp as this is your first foal.
my mare is clydesdale x warmblood and is normaly a fantastic bsja horse but do to uni commitments and her either needing work every day or not at all she is becoming a broadmare for the time being she is such a fantastic mother that the stud who are good friends of mine want her to stay a broad mare but we will see as i do enjoy riding her and jumping her she is very bold jumping horse 1 have jumped her over 1mtre 50.
If you every need any help or information don't hesitate toask me and i will try my best to answer you
