You don't want him returned injured Samstar!!! Then how are you going to sell him?!!
Can you explain that he can only go in with the gelding, at least until he's settled and they know him a bit better? A week won't give them a true view on him, and a lot can happen in a week..
I know that you want him to go to a good home, and he's nearby so it seems brilliant, but, tbh, I think she's playing on this. Just my opinion, you know your horse better than anyone else
Hey all, yes it was just a long weekend in Mull, we had a great time - cruise is next week so didn't want to go to Mull for too long - rest of the family are still up there. Went straight to the boys when I got home, lovely wee whickers from them both when they saw me
Samstar, don't know if u read my earlier post but I'd urge you to say geldings only or step back - f_s is so right - if he comes back njured to you you are then in a pickle
samstar - as he is there on loan you can demand he is kept only with geldings - if necessary get them to sign an agreement stating that in the event they ignore you rwishes they will be reponsible for the full costs of any injury whilst in their care - or words to that effect.
the gelding doesn't need to be dominant...he's fine with geldings...he was fine with mine however mine have no shoes on. What will happen if he gets kicked and he's on a trial...what is to stop them handing you back a broken horse?
Get something in writing if you can.
