I'm at home as I've had the alarm engineer and boiler men out for annual services, and I'm just waiting on the windscreen man (3rd attempt to get right glass) to turn up and replace my windscreen which ahs a bit of a crack in it - they've a few weeks to get it right as the MOT is due in August.
So I'm being productive today and getti ng on with my VAT return (with breaks

This afternoon daughter and friend have a riding lesson with an old instructor of theirs at a different school so will be on different ponies which should be fun for them.
 
well so far today i have gone out for a hack, horse was jumping at everything.

then nipped to asda, and just started baking a cake whilst waiting for farrier.

Just had a great lession with a gorgeous Arab/Thoroughbred called Soloman! A very experianced horse who is very well schooled and is so sensitive.......a little different from some riding school horses! Worked on leg yeilding and turn on the forehand.....had so much fun!
Done the food shop, time to relax, do the washing up and then go and play tennis. x x p.s how do i get these little smileys on my post?
 
Hi all, managed a short hack on pony this morning, Hp decided we'd have a little canter, well................... could only get her into fast trot and then she'd be grabbing at cow parsley as going past, you'd all think I was starving her.
Well l have manged to get her down from 365kg to a lovely 345kg so just need to get her muscled up again now.
Surprising what they lose in a month off

Good news (I guess) Samstar.

I'm sat sitting. Had a meeting in Birmingham this morning, which I was late for as couldn't get the Disco into the carpark and had to go find somewhere else. Normally I'd have quarter of an hour to play with, but this morning it didn't happen. Ho hum. Meeting was okay I think.

Managed to break the software (website): I wanted a change, which resulted in a meltdown and D won't let me send it out until he's fixed it, but in the true nature of all things techy, one thing has lead to another...

The new forest is gorgeous, 3 yrs ago I went western riding there.
Fingers crossed for friday, shame, we are not ready for buying anything yet, gotta get some readies saved, harley went for a pittance

Sounds like everyone is having an ok day - MrsM Brum is a bugger for parking in - I know I lived there for 12 years!! I have had a funny sort of day but the rain has gone from here so a cuppa and then of for a ride on by boy......
