Its a horrid grey day here and has been raining on and off all night

- seems to suit the mood though.

S_V - you need to stop playing with your ponies and mooching on here and get ready for school!!

There is an alarm bell going off in the office opposite (well its actually one of those skin clinic places) might nip in for a quick botox at lunch time lol!

I'm busy worrying about my little pig pug, she's gone into the vets today for her teeth doing (clean and scale...possible tooth removal) so she'll be sat in cage in a strange place wondering what's going to happen to her, poor little mite.

Just trawled through mud!!! and brought all of ours in! Now all munching happily on my haylage!!!

well today doesnt seem much better than yesterday, weather is crap!!
have phoned vet checked on basic costs, callout is £35 and then examination which includes horse being trotted up and lunged will cost £50 ish

so anyway have booked him in for this afternoon, but am taking him to them so saving me the £35.

thats good that your going to get him looked at, fingers are crossed for archie, that it isn't anything sinister, least then you know where to go from there.

yes hoping they find an explanation before they want to nerve block or other stuff like that.

havnt got back to the people who want to come look at him again yet, want to wait and see what vet says first.

My current injury list:

2 fractured ribs
sprained wrist
mild concussion

all thanks to my friends 18hh Clydesdale X having a flying buck session because I made him wait for a jump! How rude, now I know why she was nervous about taking him xc training. Next time I won't offer to help!!! I hurt! No riding for me for a month and my new horsey arrives in 2 weeks! :'(

Other than that the weather is grey, the office is full of moody people and I forgot to bring my pain killers to work :'(

Hope you are all well! Sorry for the delay in saying hi!! Been very busy
Still on a massive high from yesterdays Dressage! And for those who don't already know, Horlicks and I won the Dressage!! It was amazing and had lovely remarks from Judge too, which was very confidence boosting!
Not much for today, other than work and then go home, get ready for my lesson at 7pm and then home to help my mum dye her hair!!

Anyhoo, busy day today, took Padster to XC training today with a friend just hired out the course. Started off well, he helped lead into a couple of jumps and then well he was a bit mixed after that - needed a couple of wake up smacks and then was a bit nappy and refusy at a couple. Some were bigger than we have done before so I think I probably didn't have my leg on enough but a couple he was just naughty so I would say he was quite good but we've been better. I have put it down to not having done XC since out last comp about 4 weeks ago.

well took him to vets. he said no obvious cause of pain which is in nearside hind, which is why he said i may think its his offside front coz of diagonal pairs etc. so basically hes hoping its just touch of arthritis and is abit inflammed so he is on 2 weeks box rest and bute for now. in hope he will be sound after, if hes not he said you could go down route of nerve blocks x-rays etc but as im selling him he assumed i dont want to bring costs up too much etc.

so fingers crossed he comes sound.

he was not happy being put it, wouldnt go in stable for 10 min point blank refused.

anyway now have to contact people, OH said to just say we are on hol for few weeks etc.

I won't go into details, but its meant a very good friend of mine, and my instructor who has been on the farm for 9 years is being threatened with a months notice. GAAAH!!!

Some stupid, idiotic, numb brained, numb skulls, with tiny ****s decided to drive their quad bikes up and down the bridle path!!!

Daughter's horse was very good, (the path runs close, but not near near !) to our yard, so you can hear them, and just catch flashes of them through the bushes!!! Of course, horse couldn't concentrate, and after yesterday, when she was so good, daughter called it a day!!! On a good note, of course. Problem is , she's at work now for the next three days, and the weather being what it is, won't get a chance to ride again until the weekend!!! Someone always has to s*** on your day eh?

Don't even start me on where my day went wrong!! I am still fuming from stupid small minded sexist comment from manager yesterday and seriously thinking of phoning HR and having a moan about him - either that or just punching him!!

Haven't ridden since sunday due to rain and tomorrow is toenail day for the neds - full pedicures all round with a nice coat of nail varnish to finish them off!!
