Afternoon all!!!

to marymary, great to have another new poster!!! Now, do you have lots of wine and cakes????

So, we got.....

our cats!!!!

Three cats, one tortoise shell, and two black ones, a boy and two girls!!! Very hard to get a good look at them or a photo as they are stuck in their kennel as far away as possible at the minute!!!

Poor things! I have done the mummy duty and fed and watered them, so will check them in a little while to make sure they are ok

HC - yes, pony passed the vetting!!!

He's for my daughter, and she plans to do a bit of everything on him. Last night she was studying the schedules to see what she could do.

We're picking him up tomorrow afternoon, and I will be able to get some pictures then

CH - sorry you still have a nasty cold, but the jam doughnuts will soon cheer you up!!

Idlp - you need a jar (hot water bottle in English) for your back, that sounds painful, but be careful and get it checked out if it gets any worse

I am rabbiting on today, but finally, just as an aside!!

There are ignorant people everywhere regardless of their nationality, creed or race. I was in North Wales a few years back, and went into a little sweet shop. My OH asked if they sold rock. She totally ignored him, he asked again, still no reply. I then asked the same question, she answered me straight away!!

At first I thought she couldn't hear very well, but she could.

Oh, and yes, my OH is English, but I'm Irish, so it was ok to reply to me

oh bloomin weather took cleo's rug off as came out sunny now it has come over all cloudy and windy and dark again debating whether to put rug back on now

Might give it a try then. Went in to chemist yesterday to try and get some and they wouldn't sell it to me (told them I wasn't coughing - silly me!) so had to leave the shop empty handed feeling very silly

Any ideas how to get past a scary cashier?!

I've heard night nurse does that to you and makes you feel pretty bad the next day, sorry! Haven't tried i myself though so don't know first hand.

Just met my friends new horse, Paddy. The one that had colic if anyone remembers. He's lovely. I ended up holding him for the farrier cos he was being a little naughty and he's very strong, but just a baby and couldn't stand up for long. Mind you, the farrier was really good with him and his feet looked really good when they were done, think I might get him to come and do Belle.

I'm off work at 3, heading to the yard for dentist for Belle, really excited cos I haven't seen it done for ages and I'd like to see what her teeth are like

Yeah it's still raining here too, was all night and hasn't really stopped all day! Belle has her mw rug on though so I'm quite happy. Not riding today as she's getting her teeth done (I'm sure they can probably be ridden after they're done but I'm not in this weather) so it doesn't matter if she's a bit wet, though by the time dentist arrives (she keeps texting to say she's getting later and later) she'll probably be dry, and then she can go back out in the rain

Well it was raining this morning, then it was sunny, now it's clouding over but you can bet your bottom dollar by 4 it will be p*ssing it down, cos i've got my lesson.

Evening All

Beginning to get fed up with trying to buy things!! I went up to our local saddlery today to get Darcy a new sheet as the lining got pulled away from his last night and he's getting leaked apon. So anywho, got the perfect one and brought it home - about 3 inches too big

So that had to be bundled back in the back to take back on another hour round trip!! Then popped my rambo newmarket exercise sheet on that I'd also bought. It was in the wrong bag

mrT i really sypathise im in agony too dunno what i have done to my back, was clipping horse and it went again and is really painful guess that'll teach me eh?!

have come in house and left OH and sharer to put horses in etc, just taken more pain killers, i might go back out in min or should i stay here?
