SWEET FA.........Tuesday

Evening All,

Have had a rubbish day today too so am stuffing my face to make up for it
frown.gif

Time to chillax!

Evening DL,
Don't stuff your face, getting fat won't help lol.
At least you can chill now, and fingers crossed tomorrow will be a better day for you

Just wrote a flipping great message and it deleted it

Anywho, Chilli is in the oven with potato wedges, after my mini pizza and 2 chocolate bars

I just wish I knew what on earth is up with Darcy! He's coming in quite footy but eventually 'works,' through whatever it is. Initially thought it was something he'd pulled etc but he's been like it for almost a week now. Someone suggested maybe an abscess because of all the wet/ slimey ground but I'd have thought it would become a bit more apparent by now?!

Or maybe he's in need of chiro - again
frown.gif

Just feel I cant work him until I know
confused.gif

Either way, he'll have to be ridden either way for Kevin tomorrow

I hate it when the computer deletes things I write, especially when its long.
Aww poor Darcy, fingers crossed that he is ok, I can't give any advice as I'm fairly useless with horses lol.
Forgive me, but who is Kevin?

I dont really know!

She came out hundreds of times with different brands of saddles and I just couldn't afford a keiffer at the time, then randomly started looking on ebay and then many came/ went. So gave up for a bit.

Then 2 came up and I missed them both, came on here and FS had realised one of them was back, so I grabbed it !

Evening all!

Had a very busy day at work today and feel too knackered to ride Ted

however visited him and he was being extemely affectionate, which means he's done something wrong or he feels neglected

Having chinese tonight and definitely looking forward to my bed... but before that I have to update our Pony Club website..

DL - we had the same problem with the big mare today, looked lame 1/10th so checked her over, trotted her up, not lame!!

I reckon with her (she's getting older now) she needs longer to warm up and stretch out, maybe a bit of arthiritis setting it
frown.gif
Will be looking for supplements to see if it helps. She was absolutely fine afterwards, and even jumped, and was raring to go!!

frown.gif

anyway been thinking about mayb doing some work with sisters pony so she's rideable
smile.gif
what do you guys think?? obviously won't get an thanks from my sister
frown.gif
but then maybe she will be able to find a nice new home
smile.gif

He could , to be honest have a touch of arthritus coming already at 10 as he did a fair bit of eventing when he was younger?

He used to be like this in his hip but not so much now. Hm, will possibly carry on riding him as usual before he ends up bouncing off the walls again and see how long it takes for him to seem "sounder,".

I trotted him up and he did seem about 1/10th lame but then again, he had been tied up for about 15 minutes whilst I fathed about with said leg so was bound to be a bit stiff.

Good idea ldlp

Ours is eighteen and evented in her younger days, so I would expect some arthritic changes at her age, to be honest. She's always been fit and well, and we do make sure she is well looked after, but recently, as son has changed his job, he hasn't been able to ride her so much. I think, this hasn't helped.

Hopefully, now he's sorted out, he'll be able to do more work and slowly fitten her up again. I'm going to look for some supplements that might help. Darcy may be the same.

Any suggestions welcome
