Was this near to your yard? Is there any way she could be "seen," from the roads anyway? Just incase. The police are usually pretty good with stuff like this though! We had incidents like this where they would actually pull over and ask for details such as height, age, what they've done etc etc

Lovely pony, but not for us. He has had some schooling in the past, but unfortunately the people who have him now, don't understand anything about flatwork and schooling, so they just jump him!

This has made him very strong in canter, so no good!!

Just that she's put on more weight and they're figuring out a diet for her. We've not had the results from the thyroid test yet though . I want her home!

No D_L you're not babbling. I have exactly the same dilema with my mare!! And as she's blue and white, has pink skin, so I'm very reluctant to freeze mark her!!

I didn't know it had, just rang another horse owner on our road and someones been feeding hers old hay over the door, she never gives hay over the door. She's now going up to padlock her stables
 
The only thing I'd say about padlocking stables is make sure YO knows where the key is

Yes he does live there and so do quite a few others. There are a few dogs up there including a yappy JRT plus our field is overlooked by a cottage so hopefully they'll be ok but tbf if these arseholes want to get your horses nothing much stops them does it

I would let the police know they have been around all week and also about the ponies being fed. The more they know the better.

Is there anyone else near there who needs to know or could you take it in turns to drive up there to check at random times so if anyone is watching with bad intent they will realise you know and will bugger off??

Good idea Slinky!! Going there at random times makes it more difficult!!

Only problem is, if you do go, make sure you have a fully charged mobile phone, a really good torch, two large and scary dogs, and you have called the police in advance!!
