Other than a full day of work, I've got someone coming to see my girl this afternoon (same folks that bought my yearling so hoping it all works out!)

Also can't sleep! Been awake since 4.30. Been lying on sofa thinking I've now got two retired horses, can I really now go and buy a third to ride or shall I just give up? Aaaaghh. Good luck with viewing.

Good morning!

I'm up and passing the time before trying to drive into Bristol for an interview at a potential new school to teach at this term. :-D Haven't had as much sleep as I'd like as my sister-in-law called last night from America at 11pm, and once you're on the phone with her you settle in for the long haul. Got off the phone at about 12.05am.... >_< Still, it was nice to talk to her!

I am now officially 24 (I'm saying 21 again

) so hopefully it will get off to a good start! Bowling last night was GREAT, and I am going to be jumping baby one tonight in preparation for our showjumping debut on Sunday!

well, i'm spending the day doing exactly the same as i've been doing every day... stressing and waiting for our house to exchange... stress stress stress... oh my gawd.... could i be anymore stressed?...

i would tell you all to cross your fingers... but that doesn't seem to have worked so far... so, let's try a new strategy... anyone religious? can you please pray?

here's hoping...

clippy - take up residence on the sofa and refuse to do anymore packing etc so you get really behind - that should gaurentee they phone to say its all sorted - then you will have to stay up 24 hours to catch up..........

Just had word that Carrot & Spud are going out into a little paddock to mooch around and eat grass as part of their re-hab!!

wooooohooooo fab news on Carrot and Spud, hope they have a good time in their little paddock =- must say its all sounding very positive for those two at the moment!

I have literally ust got up!!! Lazy moo!!!! cant understand as I wasn't incredibly late last night!!! So now gotta dash round like an idiot this morning!! Coffee first tho!!!!

Another day trapped at home cos OH's work van has broken down so he is using the car,bear in mind we live in a small village without even a shop.
At least ponies are in walking distance so will pick middle son up from Nursery at 12 and take him and youngest son down to ride in the sun

Had an email this morning from someone with a shetland they want to rehome so emailed them back and hoping to hear more from them soon,fingers crossed.
 
Morning all just got back from Date with My Saddler.

The sun is shining the garden beckons so I am popping across the road for some naughty choccy to eat with a brew by my pond with my cat then Gardening, shed tidying and chilling out.

Wierd they have an exam day at the yard and my stomach churned up in sympathy for all the little girlies in their clean jods and jackets. Oh I just so love getting older its great!!

Start next week hopefully... Only 5 or 6 pupils so 2 1/2 - 3 hours work, but I get a GREAT hourly rate (let's just say it's between £20 and £30 an hour), and while it's only for this term it's the insurance for the box and then some covered.

Not bad here, though mine has just got new shoes on and I'm not convinced they're right. The back ones look tiny and I'm sure the nails aren't flush with the bottom of the shoe - they look like they're sticking down a bit. I've trotted her up and she doesn't seem to be lame. I'm gonna ask one of the yard staff to have a look for me tonight. If she's ok I'm gonna have a jump as we haven't done any for a while and I want to get back into it as she'll lose confidence. Does anyone think a spooky twenty year old arab can learn to jump and compete at low (lowest!) level? I'd love to go further afield and do some shows but she's so nappy and spooky I'm starting to think there's no hope.
 
I've got an ongoing nightmare in the form of my ex who just WONT get the message...... am gonna explode shortly if he doesnt stop sending me pathetic messages! I thought I'd try and get an hours sleep before work today, and guess what, even after being told last night, that I am run off my feet and I simply DONT have time to see him, he just turns up banging on the front door and bloody woke me up!!! Since then I'e text saying I WAS asleep, note the emphasis on the work WAS!!!! and I get back, oh I needed a hug, having a bad day..... so I've just said, Look I simply DONT have the time, in amongst my own horse, horse meetings, sick horses, home and packing as well as being away this weekend, and he's not the only one having a bad week....... God I cant wait to get away this weekend..... In fact I think I am going to change my phone number!!!
Me thinks RESTRAINING ORDER is next.... stoopid bloke just WONT get the message!!!
