Morning everyone. Had a quiet night last night. Glad I didn't ride out as a lot of people were saying their horses were very full of themselves/spooky.

My knee is still in recovery but much better today so having one more non-riding day then back to it tomorrow. Weather cold but not raining (yet anyway).

Do you think I'm cruel leaving an arab out overnight with no rug on?

It does seem to be getting chilly but I think if I put a rug on now she'll not grow a big enough winter coat and will suffer when the really bad weather sets in.

Bit grey here also, and the wind is cold cold cold.
Been and checked the horses this morning, and much to her dismay will ride Starla later on.
Got a bit lost yesterday and ended up doing a wee bit more than 30 mins walking...poor girl was nakered.

Have literally just got out of bed... lovely lie in!! Having my nails done in a bit (I hate having them done but a necessary evil) then have the whole day off so can do something with little madam.

I am going for a lunchtime hack today. Can't wait. Is great working for one's self because I can choose when I want to go. Hopefully sun still shining by then - it's just cheered up here.

FB was your 30 mins walking a bit of exploring where you don't usually go? We do that a lot, and have discovered some lovely urban grassy routes, some of which go nowhere useful but thankfully none of which say 'No Horses', one in particular is almost always deserted, not usually even any dog walkers and daughter has a good blast. We even poo pick after pony along them just so no-one can write to the council and complain, we don't want them to ban us offically, although we're sure we're not supposed to be there we don't think anyone considered that a pony would use the paths hence no signs.

Trouble is, I'm on a fairly busy road, and its 30 minute hack just to get up it... and i get bored of wlaking half way up a road in heavy traffic, then turning round and walking back, So I adventured! Its an east anglian farm ride route (of which im a member, so yeah I was allowed!) and the track turns straight off the busy road so i thought id give it ago. Turns out its a lovely ride, but we're not quite fit enough for it just yet

!! I know nothing about tax etc but if you phone your local tax office they will be able to answer your questions and give you loads of information - would also contact you local council and see if they have a Small Business Development officer/advisor - they again offer loads of free advice and help and sometimes loans for small business etc - or your local Citizens Advice might be able to help.

well its a running business but not making much money about £200 a month after duty, but i didnt know if you sell to shops if you still pay duty and stuff like that.

!! Definately speak to accountant - they should be able to point you in the right direction!! The tax office is very helpful if you do need advice though - so don't be scared of ringing them if you need to!! Would also investigate the small business help locally so if you do decide to take it on you could get help with selling it to local shops etc

Just borderline not quite feeling sick, so don't need to go back to hospital. Been working this morning and think might have overdone it - not so good on the concentration front.

Not giving up the neds. I know D would like me to, though he won't 'tell' me to. The girls don't want me to. The extended family are divided in their views! I can't think about anything long enough to worry about it. Want to see Dizzy and co., but don't think the car drive would be a cunning plan. I'm only as fit as I am because of the horses. The hospital commented on my general fitness and heart rate.

Three weeks off neds to get my other bits of work sorted out.

I'm trying not to panic. Keep reminding myself that there are various side-effects of bangs to the head - crying (chec), fear (check), depression (check), etc etc etc (check, check, check lol).

Ooh I want chips.... yesterday cheesecake, today chips... SweetFA is bad for me!!!

Have decided to ride little madam later on when there's people around on the yard so I can chat while I ride. Might use the pelham for a change or possibly do some pole work.

Back from having nails done... Only a matter of time before little madam clocks that I've had them done and tries to eat them! (She LOVES it when my nails are done, apparently they taste gooooood)
