And the problem is I kept saying to people that I had received loads of calendars and then would open the present of them only to find another calendar! A family friend gave me a calendar and my Sister a bottle of Champagne
Did have a list of the ones I'd tried, and then gave up
.
Doesn't like sloppy food, so (I think it was) Calm and Condition was no good for her.
Sugarbeet is about the only bulk type thing she'll eat.
Had her on Bailey's No. 4, but was told to reduce that as it's the volume of food she won't go for, and replace with the Blue Chip Pro.
Ove the summer she has been on practically just Dr Green and has had a good weight, but now she's just starting to drop and I'm trying to keep it on!
She hasn't been in at night as she is a total stress head in her current stable
. She gets so worked up that she sweats under her tummy and up her sides, up her chest, on her neck and flanks. The vet is concerned that she's going to develop stomach ulcers
. Vet is coming out on Satureday and I'm going to ask about starting her on Gastroguard, or similar.
I'm going to clip her as the sweating means I can't put her straight out. She's a hot horse and would need clipping anyway as work makes her sweat.
Ho hum. Maybe I should have gone for the rocking horse option...

P_P - are you drinking a whole bunch of water - my Speech Therapist pal always says that is best for sore throats

I had to go for speech therapy when I was getting sore throats all the time and losing my voice - they made me stand infront of a mirror and whimper like a puppy - I couldnt stop laughing!
I know they have changed the formula but I have had a bad experience with Blue Chip and vowed never again!!
Have you tried Top Spec? If you want a feed balancer? Alternatively, just add brewers yeast to the feed, does the same job, as you are trying to balance the gut. Slinky swears by aloe vera, and you can't go wrong with that, also good for ulcers.
P_P get some merocaine sweets from over the pharmacy counter - its amazing I get really really bad sore throats and its the only thing that helps I swear
I got mine wooo am excited!! Bet they are going to love that I got them ha
Why done we all say 3 things under a tenner that we would like - just suggestions of things not actual pictures of things or any allegergies (like soap or chocolate) horsey or non horsey

Um. Thinks. Yup, did the Top Spec before the Blue Chip
.
I spoke to all the feed manufacturers and the Blue Chip Pro, Bailey's Outshine and Bailey's No. 4, and sugarbeet, and Alpha A Oil, was the 'best' combination to give the least bulk and therefore be quicker to eat, with the most calories, all without making her fizz.
Probably time to ring round again and see what they come up with this time...
