I'm back!! Am having a sit down due to exhaustion!!
I have so far cleaned and hoovered the bathroom, the study and my bedroom and changed the bed and the landing. I even dusted away the cobwebs!!
Am having some lunch and then off out to do the neds - will do more housework after!!
Pixxie - any old box will do for a 6 year old - no problems with that at all!!

im back
for now anyway
went fora hack before lunch and got bit wet
but had a good canter
and she just went into canter i didnt have to kick or anything and had such a lovely steady pace
been trying to tidy up today
have done 2 lots of washing need to do another one

Afternoon all!!
Well I had my lesson and the BGL was soooooooooooooo good even when the shoot turned up halfway through
- they were supposed to be here this morning so I had a word as I was less than impressed
. But despite that he was v good - my RI's comment was 'He is very lit up but he looks spectacular!' so fingers crossed we can do half as well on Saturday!!

I am so pleased with the BGL - he just got a little bit speedier when they started shooting and I just kept him walking as the clattered through the yard in their quads etc with trailers banging around. We also managed to ride Saturdays test through from begining to end - if we manage to ride it half as well as that on Saturday I will be so chuffed I will give him extra carrots!!

I will put one last reminder for anyone who wants to join in and then give it until a bit later - I'm not sure if anyone has asked tikino - and then will do the draw. In the meantime we need to think of a few general questions to give people ideas if they need them. What do you think - what is your favourite colour? what else?

to actually get good at dressage, mine turns into a giraffe as soon as we see the white boards i have video evidence

yay! lovely to see pixxie back on here, even though it's cos she's hurt herself...
well, i'm getting oil tomorrow. i rang up a lovely company who are delivering tomorrow. i've dug out a little elec blowy heater, which is doing a good job of heating the house - which is random cos it's a 4 bedroom house, and the heater is tiny. i guess that's a benefit of having little low cottage ceilings and a thatched roof?
maddy and i have done eff all today, just faffed about. i got loads of housework done, made a big batch of veg soup (diet started yesterday - 3 stone of baby weight to lose...hmmm) and made the family's dinner.
oooh, and MY SADDLE ARRIVED. bought it on a mega whim on eBay. and i bloddy love it. it's practically brand new, used twice... check me out with a dressage saddle. i feel well posh!- i love it so much, if it doesn't fit raff, i'm going to buy a horse to fit it...

evening everyone, just got back in from taking my son out in his car (L) after checking the horses, why is it they want to go everywhere at speed ( he does not take after me )
think he learnt on one corner to slow down
my feet were nearly through the floor
Now just cooking a chilli for tea and F_s I'm drinking coffee if you want to know
might be tempted later for a wee one though, my nerves have gone to pieces

ldlp - it is my first stressage test with the BGL so who knows what will happen?!!
My aim is to get there and ride the test through and finish it all in one piece!!
Will get my neice to take piccies though - just to prove he is actually clean sometimes!!

clippy...i went on ebay against my better judgement, found everything i wanted including THE perfect dressage saddle and the correct price had i not stupidly bought a saddle that does not fit Ted AT all and im now trying to sell it and i think my dream saddle may have gone by the time i sell it
very sad and i blame you for encouraging me
hehe ahh well mum promised the cripple (me) a trip to ingatestone saddlery for some retail therapy lol so ill get my newmarket exercise blanket

the bloomin washing machine decided to turn itself off when it was only 20min into second wash load so am having to wait for it to finish now before 3rd lot of washing

do you like spiders and mice in your bedroom? and frogs trying to climb in your windows? if not... don't get a thatched cottage (especially one where the bedrooms are in the roof...).
it's pretty, and i love it... but i do often shout abuse at the things running round in my bedroom...
