Whats happened in the last 17 months? Apart from struggling to get a saddle?

Evening all,
Have just eaten 6 choccy digestives, I am so not going to be Margerie Dawes's star pupil tomorrow. I'm too scared to go and work out the points.

1st part of my secret santa pressie arrived today, very exciting!

Nothing major, just he's not the easiest of neds

He likes to flash his belly a fair bit, then we had most of winter off last year due to lactic acid build up, my confidence being zilch, power work on him being done, his hips being re-done all through the colder months as one side had twisted and the other had dropped.

Anywho, he ended up dumping me one time at the bottom of the track and I cried

Didn't get on, put him back in his stable and left him for about 2 weeks while I wrote out his advert in my head over and over again! I had fallen off him countless times before hand but that was sort of the tipping point. Thankfully, I randomly woke up one day and thought "I'm getting on" and not really looked back since

Just don't ask me to jump him ! Have had various bashes at that and they've all ended pretty dramatically so we'll be leaving that for a while..

Let us know what your friend says about the lesson, I'd love to have a lesson with someone like him, but I feel it would be wasting their time as I'm fairly useless.

I have watched more I'm a celebrity now then I ever have before. Not put it on tonight, and not watched any of the challenge things. I don't think I could stomach watching what they have to do. lol

Eerm he still rears but can put it down to a few things now and I'm not too bothered.

Still spooky but about 70% better and it's either the really small stupid things that scare him or things that are actually worth jumping at such as tractors / lorries etc.

Today I rode him past some poly-tunnels and they were snaking around flapping like no ones business. Not an eyelid. But me coughing.... you get the idea

Haha, I can't help but laugh when horses do that. Big scary things don't scare them. Little, silly things and suddenly its like they're about to get eaten! lol

Unfortunately not, just worked out they were 9 points. But they've only pushed me 2 points over and was 3 under yesterday.
Loved Ant's comments about BAFTA - assume he meant her acting rather than it being quality telly or am I crediting him with too much wit?
It is the KP show though definitely DL
