Good luck with this horse - Absolutely sickening it should have ever got into this state. Hopefully in a few months, you'll be able to post much more pleasing pictures!

when he arrived on Saturday he was really down in the dumps and sorry for himself, standing in the corner with his head down, but it's amazed me how, in 48 hours, he has perked up. He now comes trotting up to the gate and whickers at you, and follows us around the paddock nuzzling.
All he's had is a few feeds, a bath, and loads of cuddles.
He's a real sweetie, who certainly didn't deserve to end up like he has, but I'm really optimistic that he will come on well given time.
I will certainly be giving out updates

Poor little devil, that is so sweet knowing how much he's appreciating the little things. He doesn't even look like a TB does he? With his fluffy face... he looks like he'll be a real poppet though.
Well done for taking him on and I'm sure you'll do wonders for him.
Rather than clog up the forum replying to everybody else who's replied, I'll do a blanket thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Can I just say, that this level of support and good wishes, is what this forum is all about.
I'm a bit embarrassed at all the praise tbh, as I know that the majority of people on here, as horse lovers, would do exactly the same thing if they had the time and space, but I'm really touched all the same.
I will try and set up some sort of diary or blog (thanks for that suggestion!), and link it into my siggie, so that I don't bore everyone to death.
Thanks again to you all, and please keep your fingers crossed for him.
Poor horse. Well done for taking him on, I'm looking forward to seeing how he progresses. At least you've got all spring and summer to get him into condition.
Dear god Dubs he is thin. Ive only just found the thread so hadnt seen the pics till now. Fingers crossed he pulls through, I know you will do all you can.
