Teenagers in my field

Record EVERYTHING with the police.

People say they don't do anything, but with something I reported a few weeks ago, backed up with something else, has been more than enough to deal with a situation at my field. They always say let them know every little thing, because then you have the backing of them if anything else happens...

:D

absolutely

I so feel your pain!! i went through this a few months ago, first it was just going in the field and stroking them, second then they tried catching my youngster and riding him, i put notices on the gate to no avail, contacted police but because they had no idea where the kids were coming from and that they had actually hadn't hurt any of the horses they had not committed a crime! ((and breath)!.. Anyway to cut a long story short i brought my boys home x sorry couldn't really be of help but i think its hard to stop and don't know what else to suggest other than to move xx

Supply the neighbour with a cheap digital camera. Ask her to take photos next time - then you may be able to ID the perpetrators. If the police can't/won't do anything a polite letter to the parents warning them that their kids have been misbehaving in an area where there have been thefts etc & are putting themselves at risk of being suspects.
