and I don't mean your post-xmas waistlines!
I have been happily using the Aerborn girths like this:
http://www.robinsonsequestrian.co.uk/equine-product-details.asp?ID=2216
as they are elastic on both ends which I like, and are soft to touch, easy to clean etc, but my new saddler sort of turned is nose up at them last week and said that I may want to change the girths but with all that was going on I didn't get around to asking him for recommendations. A physio I had said my horse seemed tight / sore around those muscles between his front legs near the girth (she called them his pecs I think) and I had been looking at girths with wider middles if that makes any sense?
Does anyone have a type of girth that they swear by? Or can you suggest one for a horse who is a bit sensitive to being girthed? I used to use the lovely 3-fold leather ones but really wanted elastic on both ends.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks x
