tempted would you ?

Im sure whoever Sherlock is acusing of trolling as me is going to b pleased ;) haha

Thanks shall see why he has been left as a 7yr old over the phone :)

I dont think people will be queing up to buy him, I'd start at 300. I can't get my rising 6yo 16.2 away for 600 and although she's been off for the summer as no rider she is safe and sane and wouldn't take a fraction of the work or risk this lad may pose! Think what he'd make at auction, I expect he will now be hairy muddy and dirty and not much resembling the Daz white gleaming thing in the pic!

Oh dear i was well off

See thats the issue of buying off mates and travellers alot of ours are cheap as chips :) abit rusty.

If i go in low can barter up though, if you go in high cant go down . Thanks for the heads up

Yeah, just be careful, you don't want to rub them up the wrong way, the Cornish can be obstinate ******s when they want to be, to be honest if you want a really nice coloured cob down here for a good price.... You go to the travellers or the settled travellers that breed and deal... That's where the grey/blue cob came from. Anything else and you either compromise on quality or price... That's just how it is down here

Was gonna start Phoenix of soon though Lee or would go strate into trotters, once she is sorted was gonna jump into that friend offered to help :)

Sorry - couldn't help myself. I didn't mean to be rude - just sharing my view but I know it wasn't the right place to do it. Apologies. Fairly immature but something just isn't right. I have never seen someone swing between being perfectly literate and classically illiterate before in my life. The ipad doesn't punctuate for you :)

Sorry RB I know I should just take you at face value. I'm being a cow but can't help having my suspicions.

I like the look of that cob but at his age and needing restarting (possible past issues) you shouldn't be paying more than 500.

lads - a word of advice........this is a conversation normally conducted back and forth by mobile phone texting is it not ? I would use that medium tbh, as it does look a little odd, mates using the forum this way. Not wanting you to be accused of anything.

And I didn't say it on the last thread BUT having worked with a lot of travellers and horses, one thing I can tell is that they NEVER EVER discuss money like you have been doing. EVER. Even when I admired a horse or pony, and asked "how much" they never told me. Even when I asked simply to get a value for my horse, it was like getting blood out of a stone. So to discuss money on a public forum is a slip up......I'm sorry but it doesn't ring true with me at all.
