Shocking. Do you know nothing about equine management?
It is essential that a horse can get loads of mud behind each ear and around the eyes. Both legs should be coated liberally, especially behind the elbows and under the belly.* This is nature's natural waterproofing. Also this is a real test of the owner's commitment to equine welfare.
*As a loving owner I try and leave mine like this till the sap in rising, I just know they are much happier.
My daughter has seen the dreadfull photos but seems to think she now NEEDS one for her new coloured mare. I said I think they had probably all sold out !!
I have just bought he boots for my girl as they were in the sale but i'm not sure who will be more embarrassed when other see them. I always said i wouldn't buy things with sheep all over them but they will do a brilliant job for her..poor horses...
They don't seem to have much left though. Just tried to buy some boots in small and they've all gone The ones on her in the pic fit OK but I will be using them as stable wraps rather then travel boots so the small (which are shorter) would be better.
