I lost my old tb boy on the 26th November last year.
While my daughter had her riding lesson today, there was a new horse, lovely chestnut tb, so I went to say hello ( I a a sucker for a chestnut tb)
The chap was having a bit of a struggle, not much of one, te horse was just not keen on what he was having done to him.
As I got to them, the horse calmed down, his head turned...... It was like I was looking into my old boys face!!!
Same eyes, same blaze, everything.
I just was in bits, I feel a proper numpty as this was a complete stranger, but I think he understood.
They think they might sell him on, and in the spur of the moment I said please give me first refusal.
I would love to have him, but now I am thinking as it heart rather than head speaking?
Was I a bit rash?
