Or try to. There is a space in the grass liveries mares coming up. Its mild and my mare is now overweight again. I really really could do with her living out for the obvious financial reasons but she has been such a madam I haven't pushed it with her.
Anyway, my YO, who knows my mare really well, is going to try. Any signs that my mare is going to try to attack another horse or won't settle and she will be in again so please keep your fingers crossed.
I am not anti living out at all either btw - had a previous horse who I bought back unexpectedly and he had to live out. With proper rugging and feed he looked considerably better at the end of winter then when I bought him back (and cried when I saw him as well).
Wish me luck!
