i have read previous posts below and do agree it is a fantastic picture, I have jumped a couple of them on my coloured before and they make for great jumps, HOWEVER, word of warning:
A local girl a similar age to me was jumping one last year, the horse hit it with it's front feet on take off, the bale began to roll slowly and buggered up the horse's landing. Consequently horse and rider fell, rider had broken collar bone and the horse incurred a knee injury.
I just felt the point needed to be raised that although they are fantastic things to jump, if you are going to jump one PLEASE place something underneath it to prevent it rolling- I know they do look pretty sturdy but they don't take a lot to shift.
