One day I'll realise another of my childhood dreams....
Sofa, bookcase, tea kettle, snack cupboard.
All set up in a field shelter/barn so everyone can chill together and come and go as they please 😍

Absolute perfection! My two that are wannabe sofa dwellers are also enthusiastic tea drinkers, (like me!)
 
Cousin it has hit full thug era...
He has no idea how blessed he is in his sainted big brother who could squash him like a bug if he wished!
Context, big brother just wanted a roll. Cousin It was determined to use his moment of weakness as an opportunity to be a pest. He then escalated with a bravery that far surpasses any and all good sense.

At this point I thought he might finally realise he'd f**ked up...
Alas not, big brother performed a minor miracle to avoid flattening him as he rather deserved.

Big brother legged it, so Cousin It attempted similar maneuvers.

And went back to harassing my poor big lad for the next 20 minutes 😖

Who has always maintained he is a racehorse and couldn't possibly contemplate stressage or other such prancing impressively, unless its away from a pigeon or other hedge demon 🤔

I did think his topline had improved recently though, so perhaps some credit to the tiny terror 🙈

So sweet of your big boy to land softly, cousin it really has them wrapped around his tiny hooves doesn’t he!

My big lad is the softest sweetest bundle of neurotic TB.
And only the boss and a real horse because both Cousin It and the filly weren't even yearlings before they were turned out with him to nanny them.
He was rather institutionalised coming out of racing and got pretty badly bullied by anything he was turned out with. He didn't even learn to mutual groom or play before being turned out with the babies and realising he was the grown up, its been really lovely to see the change 🥰

Although I'm not sure how long he'll stay top of this particular tree! 🤭
She is a sassy one!

Apologies for the cousin it absence!

He's still hairy and mischievous and spring has finally sprung, so he had a bath at the weekend to get spruced up and ready for this years adventures to begin!

Keen eyes may have noticed the new addition...
Snoopy the sausage has joined the chaos crew!

I have no idea yet how I'm going to juggle all three of them, as the Snoop dog was a rescue and had zero training, he now understands the concept of recall, but mostly just regards it with disdain. So has to be attached to something at all times.

I'm contemplating a pack saddle for Cousin It that has a secure sausage compartment, ideas on a postcard please!

Emma Massingale takes her dogs - and cats - out in panniers on the side of the ponies, so it's entirely possible!
