anyone have any thought or opinions on the best conditioning cube? i had topspec and spillers in mind but wanted your thoughts!

i think the best conditioning feeds are allen page calm and condition fibre beet and alfa oil but if you want a nut or ring i would go for d +d barley conditioning rings!

how long does a bag normally last you of bailieys?

Depends on how much you're feeding! Winter before last I fed my 16.3 warmblood mare on them - she went through a bag a week. This winter, I fed my 4yr old on them - a bag lasted her two weeks.

id say either D&H Build Up Cubes (did wonders for my lad) or Baileys No.4

but personally, i would feed Copra over build up cubes tbh or alongside them if horsey is very poor

I'd use Spillers, and am also a big fan of TopSpec balancer

I've used Baileys no.4 with good sucess too. After advice on here I switched to Spillers Slow Release Energy cubes and my gelding done better on these than traditional "conditioning" cubes.

It depends on what you want from your conditioning cube! Do you want highest possible calorie count, barley-free, cereal-free, most tempting for a fussy feeder etc?!

I used topspec cool condition cubes, baileys No 4 didnt have much effect and sent her abit loopy. With other horse where loopiness isnt an issue also used topspec conditioning flakes.

Spillers Slow release cubes...better than Baileys No4 IMO.

Spillers are awesome, depending what your horse is my tb was a little bit poor after the winter and I fed her stud cubes which were fab, also spillers lay off cubes are great as they are non heating and really help with the condition. I event my mare off them, really high in fibre and vit e.
