The best heavy duty cordless clippers?

Lister Stars. They glide through my hairy cob's yak coat/feather like a hot knife through butter. £200 for a bargain set from Mole Valley farmers with extra blades, trimmers, bag and oil.

I have just got these as my lister liberties are dying out after 7 years and I don’t clip as many now.
Both are fab :)

I couldn't get on with my heinigers. This winter I got some Liveryman Black Beauty with a battery pack and am absolutely delighted with them. I have some ancient liveryman mustangs so staying with the same brand means all my blades are compatible, but even ignoring that they are very good indeed. The Variable speed is great for an anxious horse or doing heads etc.

I bought HD Roamers (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00PHCQS3E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) - I only have one horse to do and it is mainly clipping out legs and hogging so didn't want to pay a fortune. So far they have seemed great - they don't get hot, they are reasonably quiet, the battery lasts really well and they have got through some pretty dense and grubby leg hair! They have also been used on cows (don't ask!). I don't know how they would stand up to doing more but can't fault them for what I have needed them for.
