Because.......

Well the plan last night was clip Mr Mackenzie (well just bib or low trace) and it was time to say HELLO *waves* to the big daddy Liveryman clippers, it didn't quite go to plan.

I thought he'd of been ok, after all he's so laid back he's virtually horizontal...he is thee Mr Smooth and he's fine with my mini Wahl's but oh no the Irish Daft and Wallyblood came out in him, anyone would of thought it was a scene from the Texas chainsaw massacre and that I was about to amputate all four of his limbs!
grin.gif

Even coaxing him near them with his favourite Banana & Dragon Fruit snax didn't convince him, so we spent a little time just getting him used to the sound (while he stood shaking and snorting

) and then called it a day, or should I say night.

But Kenzo was determined to not to loose a battle with Mr M and resorted back to getting the baby Wahl's back out just to make sure he was still ok with those.

Yes we are now sporting the new look, the look that everyone wants, even gets Gok Won 's seal of approval....its the 'Hairy Monster With A Big Bald Patch On The Neck' look.....yeah yeah I know what your thinking but it will catch on, don't you worry...and you'll all be jealous!

So my horse now looks like a twat (as another forum member yesterday so funnily described herself after cutting her self a fringe
wink.gif
)..made me giggle.

Anyway he retired gracefully with his food and a full barnit of hair and I let him think he'd got his own way lol.

But just wait until I show him the mirror, who'll be laughing then boyo! lol *evil laughs*

haha he sounds like my tb i resorted to doing a full clip with liveryman flair trimmers lol he is now sporting a very silky clip and best of all i lived to tell the tale

PMSL that was great fun! I also find it very frustrating to clip, my girl reacts the same way as you describe if I put my Heiniger clippers on within a 20 metre distance of her, however, the YO Lister Liberty barely fuss her at all.

I swear they just know when you spend a ton of money on cool stuff and feel the need to not like it one bit!

Lister Liberty hmmm now they sound interesting, are they pretty quiet...or even better cordless!! ?

My other clippers are liveryman arena's and they are quite loud and chattery and of course they had a wire attached to them which was super scary, so I'm think I might buy a small pair of cordless ones, just to play around with until he gets used to them, any recommendations?

PMSL!! It's already caught on.....Charlie is also a 'Hairy Monster With A Big Bald Patch On The Neck' as my clippers decided they didn't want to work, I think it looks great!!

Oh no, not the classic case of ....

''OMG!! my clippers blades have gone blunt'' I've started but I can't finish...
grin.gif

Yes done that one before too, now I've got about 5 sets of blades...in fear of never going blunt!
grin.gif

Ahh my horse is going for the "hairy monster with a bald patch on the shoulder" look as she decided the clippers and clipper man was scary

Looking at buying my own liveryman harmony clippers, not too expensive, positive feedback from here, supposedly quiet and cordless.

They are cordless, not so much quiet but they make more of a thunking noise than the usual whirling noise you get from clippers. It seems to upset her less plus when she does faf around I don't have to stop to sort the cable every 2 seconds!

I would highly recommend them but for the price tag, I think they are around £300 new!!!

me yer my yo intervent when because she didn't think i was doing it "properly" and her clippers gave him a horrid rash, next time i'm going to do it myself and just ignore everyon else.

eta she only did his 1/2 face, neck and belly
