The dealer that cannot be named

Yes, saw that yesterday. She's also (allegedly) taking action to get that taken down, just like the reviews elsewhere and posts in the various Dodgy Dealer groups.
So many excruciatingly similar stories over the last year regarding purchases, trials, non refunds within agreed time etc.
I hope Facebook leaves it standing as its one of the very few places that anything negative hasn't been threatened with 'going legal'.

I do not know how she does it but 🤞🤞 it stays. Ironically I got an email from Horsemart yesterday promoting her 🤬🤬
 
The volume of posts in that group is frankly astonishing.

Repeating the experience of many others - without the posts on this forum I’d have been oblivious, other than a feeling that it couldn’t be quite right.

Someone linked to that group in a post in a dodgy dealer group - I didn’t reply, just liked a comment that wondered how long the post would stay up for. Which got me booted from the group. Interestingly, that’s not event the group where the admin states that she would recommend said dealer and will go there for her next horse.

The whole thing stinks.

Not just the volume, but a clear trail of the same horses on occasions being yo-yo'd from trial to trial, I dont just feel sorry for the purchasers but the horses too.

She used to have a pretty reasonable reputation in dealer world a few years ago, but for the last 18months+ the negatives have been made pretty public, contested very vigorously by the dealer on many occasions, often without substance, usually breaking her own contract in regards to her own 7 day repayment as stated in trial contract, mindboggling!
Much of the stories follow a pretty similar line though.

The original, unbiased, well moderated DD group closed down. The group is still up so you can search it if you were a member but no more posting/commenting is possible. One of the mods was known and I believe was getting threats which were of genuine concern.
 
That's just shocking. And then presumably lots of copycat groups - probably run by the DD's themselves! I wonder if there is an anonympus way of doing it. So mods are protected.

If it the one I had to get the police involved with then I cant think of anyone who deserves it more. I was not the only one involved in that case either!

One of the mods on the group shared here has added up theres over 120,000 outstanding that they know of :oops: :oops:

That's interesting because one of the admins on a DD page has stated that she wont allow any negative posts about this person as she is currently expecting a baby. What sort of age was she 30 years ago?

As someone who had a bad experience with 'must not be named' I am DELIGHTED this site has been set up and I have every confidence this is one place that cannot be taken down. Membership is soaring literally by the minute, last time I checked 1,412, and the amount that is known outstanding is at least £330K. Advertising on Whickr/Horsequest/ENB has ceased - and all this in just over a fortnight.

Yes, exactly. The 2nd was told the horse needed shoes, when he was in fact being returned from the first lady.
Shameful.
I have had enough of these people who think nothing of putting people's lives at risk to line their own pockets.
 
Every one needs to report to trading standards
And probably her bank as a lot of what she is doing is fraud. All the time she's holding money she's earning interest
 
I joined that group to see what it was about and have been blocked by said dealer. Guess she's blocked everyone on that group!
