Dont suppose it has to be fixed exactly on one date.... where has hanandhen gone, bet she is in bed now, perhaps we should continue this tomorrow

BTW I have put it on my FB page and got our first donor, so we'd better set up the justgiving site ASAP

Thats what im thinking plenty of RAF bases round here, have a friend who runs a sled team who is in the RAF i`m sure they would be interested in joining in too

I was researching, not in bed (although I am going there now!)

We are going to need quite a few more people to get all the way to John O'Groats though!

Hmmm - perhaps if, for example, I take 2 dogs and my friend comes too and brings 2 dogs - we could count that as 40 miles? LOL

Actually, a lady in the village organises a charity dog walk every year for Cancer research - it's always very well attended.

I will mention it out shooting tomorrow

Or in Cayla's case, should be committed

Does it count on how many miles the dogs do? i have 3 dogs so does that count as 30 miles?! i have some friends that would join in.Gumpatrump on here being one of them.
I am in the Bucks are so it woule be pretty easy for me to get to Oxfordshire too, theres the ridgeway that runs from Bucks to Oxford i think thats meant to be nice to walk...

I'd definitely do it, although 10 miles is quite a lot for people with puppys/older dogs. Not sure whether I'd have to carry Chloe the last bit! xxxx

PS I was told last night after multiple laps that our training showring is 40m round and I have to do at least 300 paces for my heelwork pattern so I probably do ten miles every Sunday at club

Count me in - I can borrow my nan's JRT for a weekend, although his little legs might be even shorter after 10 miles.

My dad has seen first hand the great work of H4H and it's a charity close to both of our hearts (army family!) so very keen to take part.

Ok I'm being bad and logging in at work, so won't be back again until tonight! But as several people have pointed out - 10 miles is a long way for pups, oldies and little dogs - so if you would like to join in but can't do 10 miles then please do pick a distance that you can do comfortabley and we can knock it off the total.

I suspect we may need to do a bit of health and safety type stuff but this should be relatively straightforward (I've done risk assessments at work before) but will wait for advice from H4H before doing anything about this as we might not need to.

Back later
