There is actually a knabstrupper or knabby x gelding running on the the New forest 🙂 I'm in a couple of nf Facebook groups, will find a link to the post with him on.

Yes he's a gelding; only approved (purebred graded NF) stallions are allowed to be depastured so far as I'm aware, although there has been some drama previously when some pony mares were covered by a jack donkey!! ( Not sure what happened to any but one of the offspring, who's been written about on a mule blog [http://mulography.co.uk/mule-tales-henrietta/], though.Defo a gelding? I imagine they dont want him breeding with the newfies!

I have seen some intentionally bred spotty NF X's for sale online before and they're actually lovely 😅
I am only one photo in and they have already labelled (as they may change it if you look again) as 13hh-ish coloured cob as a 'small shire horse'- you have to laugh!
