Ok - following on from comments on an earlier post I am starting a Long Mane Campaign!! So please feel free to post piccy's of your neds lovely long locks here.....

For those of you that get itchy fingers - look away as you will find your fingers twitching and reaching out for the mane comb........

Here is my hairy girl in all her glory - and yes her forelock is past the end of her nose and her mane is about 2 foot long in places!!!

:O I wish I had taken a picture of my auntie's horse when she was over, her mane was about that long after I had finished pulling it! By the way I LOVE your horsie

Genie.... I actually caved and tidied up the ends the other day, but it's only about 1cm shorter. Waiting impatiently for the rubbed bits to grow!

Normally I like a really short mane (easier to plait!) but Mousey is a native, so I can't touch it - and I would never want to. It's sooooo warm when riding in the winter - just put your hands underneath it for 30 seconds and frostbite has been held off!

If i showed him then i might be tempted to have it shorter.
