I thought I would share photos of Polo and Charlie's little walk through the fields today. I love being off school as it means I can spend that long out in the field with them everyday :). Hopefully this will content some people... (I do understand why you were worried, I genuinely hope this will put some peoples' minds at rest!)

They managed to drag me half way across one of the fields through muck, after a rabbit. I wouldn't have liked to see that Easter bunny after they'd got it. Thankfully they managed to drag me into a tree and I stopped :o .

Thats what they need! Now all you've got to do is persuade/cajole/bribe/plead with your folks to do the same when you go back to school!:D

Tell them its good exercise, it will release endorphins and they will feel 10 years younger!:D

Lovely to see those pictures, hope you enjoyed the walk as much as they look to have done. I've just come in from a walk across the fields with mine, they didn't really need to go again but it is too nice an evening not to be out with them.:) Is Charlie a beardie cross, he looks to have a beardie coat?

We're really not sure what he is. I've been going with him being a GSD Samoyed x, because he has a GSD face and temperament, but his coat is like a long haired Samoyed (goes as if its been crimped when its wet), but he is probably nothing like this. Any guesses are welcome lol. He could well be a Beardie x actually.

The temperament of him is quite GSDish, because that's a word :P. I don't know he just seems to have that presence, and he is very 'keep my family together so I can look after them' sort of thing, which I have seen in a lot of GSDs. But that's a complete random guess, he is probably a much more complex mix. He doesn't have the temperament of a collie at all, but then I have no experience with beardies.
