As the title really.

My ridding bug is hitting big time again what with the sunshining, ive been busy trying to get hair off the youngsters so that we look super posh on the first outings. And the three year old has a few fun rides planned and in the dairy can't wait.

What you all doing with your neds this summer????

ITS RAINING HERE :(
When the sun decides to come out though all i want to do is xc and sponsored rides (done a few already last month) - i swear they make everything worthwhile - even the poxy winter weve just had/still have! somehow i keep ending up at dressage comps - dont know why it keeps happening i think its force of habit plus ned is a bit of a star at dressage.
Theres 2 ODE's ill go to aswell but i only really wanna do the s/j and dressage phase just to get to the fun xc bit - wahoo! Bring on the summer!

Summer:cool: I need to get to it first though:eek: Bit of a storm going on here right now, despite it being 16C, I am just waiting for the lightning to stop before I go and rescue my ponies from their paddock which looks like this!:(

I think we have some penning and jumping planned, depending on what horses I have on the place at the time.

plan 1) get my new pony to hack out alone!
plan 2) do my first fun ride
plan 3) do my first show both showing and jumping for about 10 yrs!
plan 4) do some xc

Wahooooooooooo bring on the sunshine!!!

goodness enfys......your poor poor field :-(

im moving my 5 in 3 weeks to a new grass livery i honestally cant wait, better hacking, rc down the road, shows 2 mins away and a xc course 5 mins away so am planning on doing some showing with my little man and a bit of everything with my ish. hoping foaly dosent make a apperance for another 2 months til she is settled so going to have lots of fun this year, bring on the summer

Enjoying the fact than unlike for over 2 months this winter, theres no snow!

doing our first endurance events
getting us both fitter!

plans are

1-teach new pony people are not scary
2-back and ride away new pony
3-keep winston thin all through the summer
4-do some showing.

4-Enjoy my last summer holidays ever as I qualify in Feb and I will have to work full time :(

It's drained away now :) Just very soggy and it has spread all the muck about :D Good for the grass though ;)

So much I'm not sure I can fit it all in, going to make the most of every minute, loads of showing, bit of dressage, back my 3 year old filly and take my boy to ride on the beach where I use to ride as a child. Can't wait.

Well I am just praying she stays sound! Hopefully then we can enjoy some long gentle hacks and some possible in hand showing and generally mooching about spending time with her as college will be all over with, woo hoooo!! :D
