Do greys have thinner skin or is it that blood is easier to spot? My old boy had skin like a rhino!

I wondered that too.. two I have ridden in the past weren't noticeably thinner skinned than others

Me too but then I've also never worn spurs.
Normal riding I've ridden lots of greys and never marked them with rubs or anything.
