looks full of life and very, very heathly too. As does mum and both are in your very capable hands. I wish them both well over the coming months x and if I were you I would be as proud as punch and rightly so x
best wishes and congratulations all round
Congratulations Tia, Megan, Cloud and Filly! Fantastic news. She's a good size and looks really well. Look forward to seeing lots more photos of them. Cloud looks like the perfect mum.
Ps, so pleased to hear that you didn't resort to the rubber gloved "shove your hand up and yank it out" method and then the "don't let your mare and foal bond cos you want to play with it yourself" method as so often seen by the ruddy septics!
Thank you very much everyone. I'm afraid I've "wasted" most of the day just looking......she is so beautiful I can't help myself. Her little tips of her ears are white and her tail seems to be getting greyer by the minute. She's just perfect, perfect, perfect. Very friendly little soul and Cloud is being great as there have been a fair few visitors came to see her little bundle today.
My big black dog is totally intrigued with the filly and loves her. The filly seems to have a thing for her too.
Still waiting for the vet to come and check Mum and baby...... *rolls eyes*
Anyway here's some new pictures of her. We are thinking of naming her Meadowland Legacy....Legacy as a stable-name? Thoughts?
Awww so cute!! She looks a confident little thing. I like Legacy, but I also like Patches's suggestion of Skye. See how she goes in the next few days - she might name herself!
I don't know about names as they are a very personal thing and I would want to make sure everything was 'covered' with her mother's history being so special. I am just very relieved she's arrived safely and Cloud is fine. Many, many congratulations to you all.
I love the name, I'd probably call her Meadow as a stable name and then if its shortened it would be shortened to doe. She is totally adorable, you must be over the moon
