Thermatex Quarter Rug

Does any one have one of these?

I really fancy treating myself to one for when the temp drops. I have a hi-vis exercise sheet buts its quite thin, so I want to know where the thermatex quarter rug attaches to the saddle and whether I could put it under my hi-vis for hacking in deepest darkest winter.

Its lovely, fits well, stays in place even in high winds

well worth the money IMO

ETS yes you could put a hi viz over the top of it, only problem would be securing the hi viz as the straps for the quarter sheet attach to the 3rd girth strap so you wouldn't (easily) get another sheet on top - hope that makes some sense!!

My hi-vis is a wrap around, so my plan is to attach the thermatex to the saddle to keep ponies bum warm than lay hi-vis over top, its one of those that goes under saddle flap but has velcro at the front to secure...hence I was hoping I could use the 2 together

Absolutely love mine, my horse gets spooky when he gets a bit cold and this keeps his bum nice and snug!

If it is the wrap round excercise rug I have one and would not be without it. It sticks like glue and use it for working in at comps on a cold day and it doesn't move. Usually ride in it under my legs but if it is really cold you can wrap it round your own legs and it keeps you toasty warm. They now do one with a zip out waterproof/hi viz bit. Expensive but well worth the money. It is the rug that I wouldn't be without. Quick and easy to fit. I can take it off and put it on while mounted if I have it on to go to the school in the winter. My mare is knocking on a bit now so when really cold keep it on till she is warm.

I love everything made by thermatex! The quality of their stuff and the service is unbeatable IMO, I know its pricey but I think its worth it.

My advice is treat yourself! we all deserve a little treat evey now and again
