wearing balaclava's over your face (in the way of the anti's ) is intimidating and intimidation is illigal
For example if you were wearing a balaclava in a shop an assistant would ask you to remove it because it's intimidating to other customer's and staff.
I didn't mean wearing balaclava's was illigal I meant wearing balaclava's is intimidating and intimidation is illigal
Just to clear that up :D

RS there obviously isn't a specific law banning balaclavas but the wearing of them in certain circumstances could convince the police that a law was being broken eg. breaching the peace or even assault (where there doesn't need to be physical contact). I think Jay in this thread is perfectly justified in being disgusted by the antis' behaviour.

When looking at a list of posts, you'll find a button marked 'Threaded' at the top and bottom of the list. Click on it to see how the posts are structured, and who's replied to who.

I'm afraid I'm still in the dark!
Do you mean that I answered one of your posts which wasn't addressed to me?
Surely the point of this forum is that anyone can join in the debate and answer or comment on any posts?

I'm very happy for anyone to reply to one of my posts. Unfortunately I think you've misunderstood the context in which some of my comments were made, that's all. One of my earlier posts was "I didnt say it isnt intimidating, I said it isnt illegal." and my other comments follow that theme; ie I was discussing the legality (or illegality) of covering ones face.

There is a section of the Public Order act (68 or 69 I think) that forbides the wearing of face coverings. Although this has to implemented in a certain area on the day by a Senior Police officer.
