...not soft enough to be doing anything just yet but...
My boy really is not talking to me at the moment! - Literally!
He's currently out 24/7 and I'd planned to continue all winter if poss. but this weather is attrocious and although he has a mediumweight on, there isn't any decent shelter in his field. He gets hay at night and although I have to drag him back to the field after his tea, I leave him, happy enough, munching through his hay...
I would bring him in, but for a number of reasons I'd rather leave it. firstly, I've lent his stable out to another livery with an older horse who needed more room and my boy won't fit in his box!! - there is a spare box but it means entering negotations with the y/o, which I'd rather not have to do at the mo! and secondly, my body is quite enjoying the break from mucking out after a year of doing it twice a day for my filly who was on box rest!
arghhhh... if I can just make it through til Crimbo or the new year, I'll be happy... I must stay strong...
