Think of a caption *picture*

Thanks guys :-)

He's one in a million, backed as a 3 year old but working away makes it hard to ride him, so hes had a year off then long reining for a year, then decided ill bring him to work to break him as hes too talented to be doing nothing.

As for the flash i don't need to explain myself but I'm going to anyway. I dont see any harm in putting a loose flash on any horse. Loose flashes don't really have any effect, and ive also known horses which when its come to needing a flash theyve freaked as they're not used to anything around that part of their mouths. I break and school horses and ponies for a commercial stud yard so i do know what I'm doing. i wouldnt do anything to harm any horse, all his tack has been professionally fitted. He is cheeky and you have to be a step ahead all the time. :-)

OP - Pony looks fab, I do not think its a pretty 'standard' photo, I can see the cheeky look on his face and you should treasure this photo. Crap at captions so I wont even try!

Me and my uncle were looking through pictures of our youngster when i was riding him the other day (hes only been broken a week or so) and found this picture and came up with a few captions for the look on his face.

What captions can you think of? :)

You put your right leg in, your right leg out and......whats next, oh yea, ooooki koki kokeeee, thats what it's all about rah rah rah, think that's what she's asking for , or was a turn on the forehand ??? oh I don't bloody know.......

"Okay, so I am going to trot really nicely for a while just to fool her and when I hit that corner I am going to put my devious plan into action. Teach you fro putting me in pink!" :P Long caption sorry :D

Although I wouldn't use one the pony looks to be effectively tacked up. Neck strap, boots, reasonably mild bit.... and its just a flash, not a horrendous gadget like draw reins or something.
He's stunning! How big is he?

Agree entirely with this, I think that bit about it being a 'standard' photo was a horrid thing to say. I was always told that if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all!

As for the flash, why can't people mind their own business, the OP was not asking for advice on tack fitting or anything else so why people suddenly felt the need to comment I have no idea.

OP, love the cheeky chappie!

Thanks :D

He's about 13.2hh and 5 years old. Known him since a yearling, my friend bought him to bring on for her daughter but he became too much so we bought him :) Cracking jumper... pings out of no where, just hope he does the same under saddle as he does loose. His sire is Whalton Drummer Boy. British Riding Pony bred but with Arab and Welsh backgrounds :)
