Yesterday I had a nice lady come to see Blitz, and after her instructor practically rode him into the ground (😡) she rode much more nicely; she liked him well enough and said that she would give me a response by today. Anyway, within about 30 minutes she texted,to say that she had made up her mind, and that she would take him, but she had to talk to her instructor about transport. So, I immediately text back, to say, that’s great, when can you come back to sign the papers and a contract of sale etc. I got a massage today to say that she isn’t available until next Thursday, but she would come at about 11am - no mention of coming by earlier to sign the contract, or of leaving a deposit.
Now, I have someone else coming to see B tomorrow - this was all arranged almost 2 weeks ago - what do I do if she also wants him???
Aaaargh!
Surely if you like a horse enough to buy it, then you do things ASAP - e.g. have transport planned in advance? She is local too, only 30 mins away.
And if this waiting game isn’t stressful enough next Thursday Tartine is being picked up to move to the UK!
Would you offer to deliver? I have a fellow livery who would probably take him if I asked.
