This is what brightens my day up every morning. The big fella and his mini-me!! Pretty much identically marked. :p The big lad is a full up 18 hand shire and the little 'un is my 5 month old cobby baby!

Aw, lovely comments, thanks.

No, no one has asked if they are mare and foal yet....probably because I've got them tucked away where no one can see them! And the little one hasn't tried to suckle either! :p
The markings were completely accidental. In fact I didn't even notice at first....
They do hang out like that a lot....they have another friend though, that's who they are looking at, I'm bringing him back to the field :)
Lovely boys :D
And I know Edward's rug is a bit small! :o :)

Not trying to be funny but 5 months is young for a foal to be taken from its mother. No wonder he's tight up against the shire, he's almost certainly anxious and missing his mum.

Awww thats so cuute!!:D they look identical. Lol when i saw the photo i read it again because i thought they were mare and foal hehehhe that would make me smile everymorning too:)

Oh honestly....he's up tight against the Shire because he squashed between him and the fence watching his friend coming back to the field. He was actually taken off his Mum at 4 months. NOT by me I hasten to add. However, he is the least anxious foal you could care to meet. Amazing what people can read into one picture. Maybe I'll post a picture of him today grazing on his own in the middle of the field looking really stressed out :D

Ohhhh! Muffin looks SO cute in his ickle rug... was that Millie's? Muffin has gone a lot darker, I thought he was steel grey. Oh dear, I feel another visit may be on the cards......

aw this is so sweet! and I also laughed at the foal comment, I have a foal arriving in 2 weeks who will be 5 months old and had all the time in the world but NATURALLY went away by herself so they started the weaning process early. I have no objection with this and whether she stayed with her mum until she 8 months or 5 months it made no difference to me as long as they are happy and healthy and you wee boy (and big boy) look super happy and super cute!
