My new thoroughbred keeps coming in with little scrapes on her hind legs, usually around her hocks. I know that TBs are thin-skinned and cut themselves on even the littlest of things.
I think she’s cutting herself by rolling/lying down as there’s nothing in her field that looks like it’ll get her. They are all superficial wounds and nothing too scary.
Is there any way of basically stopping this? Or at least reducing the chances of her coming in with scraped legs?
