I need something suitable for a high wither/muscle wastage. Has anyone any experience of these saddles please?

I have one of the old Griffin's on my thoroughbred. He has very high withers and cr@p topline. The High withered saddle is the only one that fits him. As soon as I have some money saved I will be replacing it with the newer adjustable one.

Here's a picture to show his rubbish back

i have one on my high withered tb and when saddle fitter last came out she said id have t pay for a speically made leather saddle t fit her that good. love it! so comfy too, fits me in nicly! i recommend them! i have cob and gp version too!

I have the T4 which is apparently really popular with saddle fitters because it can be adjusted alot so fits most types. I have to say its really really comfy to ride in and i think the horse would say the same! (he is a tb type)

i have a mare with high withers and my saddler got mine made to measure my thorogood and its perfect. its the t6 robert whittaker jump saddle and it fits beautifully...

My beast isn't high withered, just normal, anyway I have a Thorogood Jill Thomas Endurance saddle, I like it, changeable gullet, changeable fish, 3 fixing straps removable knee rolls, synthetic easy maintenance, doesnt slip.

Done lots of long rides in it and no problems, we were out for 5 hours one day.
