Thorowgood t6 or t8 saddle .. do you know?.....

Evening all. Ok so this isnt a classified ad promise!!! BUT I am trying very hard to find a secondhand thorowgood t6 or t8 in brown 17'' I cannot find one of this combination.... everything I see is usually black or almost certainly 17.5 or a high wither... does anyone know am I looking for something that wasnt made?? Im beginning to think its the impossible and I can afford to by brand new.
i did look on the derby house webby and they only sell black ones?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The brown ones are quite rare I think, I was told that the black was more popular and brown ones were usually made to order, so there will be less of them around. I'm not sure about t8's as they haven't been out as long but that was the case with t6's and t4's.
 
My saddle fitter told me that brown ones are less popular because they look more plasticky. Maybe that's why they're hard to find.
 
I got a brown one second hand a couple of years back, I had to wait a fair while for what I wanted to come up on ebay (18", brown, high wither). It had hardly been used and I paid £240 for it. I don't think it looks plasticy at all, everyone always assumes it's leather!
 
Brown ones are made to order. I had to wait 4 weeks for mine.

T4 brown is a very odd colour (suede bit is a horrid rusty red brown). T6 brown however looks and feels like decent leather.
