Those of you with full TBs

...if you don't mind me asking, how much do you weigh?
And also what size is your TB and what kind of build (eg little twig or more substantial type

) and what you do together.

I had full tb and now have x but she is lighter than full.I weigh betwee 9 3 and 9 10 .We do hacking schooling jump cross once last year and plan on sj.Full tb was 16 1 my mare is 16 h but very fine.Have a look under my user name on my photobucket link.

16HH TB 9 and a quarter'ish stone not sure about height and definitely not as skinny as a rake. I also ride a 15HH and an ickle bit half TB. I event both affiliated at BE90 moving up to BE100 and have jumped 1m 25 on both of them no problem, I also do all pony club activities and attempt some dressage as well

Charlie is a TB, 16.1HH (ish), 14 years old. I would say he is a more substantial type

I weight between 11st 8lbs and 12st (depending on how much Cr@p I have eaten) and he seems to carry me fine.

My full TB (ex-race) is a chunky 15.3. I weigh approx 10 stone. I certainly wouldn't have more than 11.5 stone on him.
He does everything - hunting, XC, SJing, ODE, Dressage, hacking etc, etc. A true RC all-rounder! Just proves how versitile they are

Further to my earlier reply - here is a better idea of our proportions! I am 5ft 4, and 10st 4. He used to be very skinny, but has built up muscle quite nicely. He is 15.2. No need for critique of my position in both photos. I am truely aware of all the awful problems! Apologies for the small jump - we are learning together! Do a bit of everything with him and he copes with my bulk admirably!

Hattie is 15.3hh is isn't a twig but not one of the heavier TB's eihter, a middling one. I'm 5'9", 12 1/2 stone and we do hacking, side saddle, dressage and jumping (LOL, only diddy jumps 1'- 1' 1/2 foot as my bones can't take anything higher!). She has no problems carrying me at all!

my boy is 15.3, he isnt a twig but certainley isnt chunky either. and im just 11stone :S he carrys me fine, we do BD mostly but will be doing abit of everything this year hopefully. he is going on a 3 month holiday now though as hes got muscle problems so i WILL lose weight again, i used to be about 9 1/2 stone so thats the aim

I have a 16h3 TB out of Mr Prospector and he is definately a substantial type, very deep girth and body. I am 5ft 3 and weigh 7 stone but he has carried an 11 stone rider a few times in the past. We do a bit of everything, hacking, dressage, jumping, showing etc.

my boy is 16 hh- 16. 1hh (yet to find an accurate tape/measuring stick!!). would have said he was fine when I first got him as he was a rake but now with tlc, good hay and feed he's getting his weight up and filling out a lot, just got to muscle him up! frind comented the other day he doesn't look as spindley as before so I'd say he was inbetween spindley and medium atm! I'm 5' 8'' and weigh just over 9stone. He's had a heavier friend on him and coped well. Think it's all about a sympathetic rider rather than weight.

don't! Thats me in my sig,on a 16hh ish full TB at about 14.5 stone. My old TB was 16.2hh (ex chaser) and I was approx 13.5 stone then. I'm 5ft11

He is 15.2. My height = short! Weight = a lot!

Im 5ft2 and usually 9st6 (well when I am not glued to the computer doing work and he is out of work with all the snow! - now it is closer to 10st

) I think he quite well built and not exactly spindly.

Chilli is 16.1hh, 11yrs old & a very lean type of TB. He still looks 'racing fit'. We spent last year trying to BSJA & have recently started competing Dressage. Hopefully we'll register with BD in a couple of months.
I'm 5'1" & weigh 7stone. Sometimes I think I look a little small on him, not helped by the fact that I ride quite short.
My instructor sits on him quite often & Chilli has no problems taking him. He is much taller & heavier than me.

I'm not sure I really count as my girl is not officially a TB, but she is very lightweight and often gets mistaken for one!

She's 15.2, I'm 5'2 and I weigh around 13 stone. In my two far left sig pics I weighed about 11.5 -12 stone; the rest are pretty much an indicator of my present weight.

I'm 5'6" and weigh between 9 and 9 1/2 stone. My lad is a 15.3hh ex-racer - I think he's fairly chunky as TBs go (although completely lacking in topline in this pic!).

Millie is 16.1hh quite a substantial tb, good leg at each corner type.

we have had her since a foal and i broke her in etc.

my weight has been up to 12st before and she has never appeared to be bothered!

i was going to try and lose some more weight but as she seems able to fly buck and leap around with me i don't think she is struggling!

Last time I stood on a set of scales they informed me that I was 11 stone - I am 5'5". I wouldn't have said either of my horses were little twigs or substantial either... i guess medium, a typical average TB. Both were/are 16hh ish and I do a bit of everything. My gelding and I did sidesaddle together and I will get around to doing that with my current girly
