Our summer paddocks are a little too wet yet but very lush so the horses have just gone on them for the day at the mo (7.30am-6pm) & will go out 24/7 as soon as they dry up properly (probably another few weeks) x
Ours are out 24/7 at the minute. They first went out 24/7 4 weeks ago (the earliest I have turned them all out ever). But 3 of them come in at night if it is very wet or windy. The others stay out whatever happens unless the rain gets ridiculous and the paddocks are too wet and slippery. But June, they will all be out 24/7 regardless of rain.
Went out 24/7 when the clocks changed but are still on their winter paddocks so haying twice a day and feeding once a day.
We're rugging at night (100gm) and leaving naked during the day unless it's really foul.
Mine has been out for about a month now, although still having haylage twice a day and hard feed twice a day in the field. We're still on winter grazing so not a huge amount of grass, just enough for them to pick at really, not sure when we'll go over to summer grazing as I've only been at the yard for 4 1/2 months. Just glad he's out!
Mine are out tonight for the second time this year (they had a night out last week) and are hopefully staying out now depending on the weather and their weight!
mine have been out for about 3 weeks now, still supplementing with a bit of hay once a day as the grass is growing but I'm keeping them in the grazed paddock so that none of them balloon too quickly!
