Do you think it's worth me trying? My big youngster is going through his 'teenage' phase, which is fine, 90% of the time he is delightful, and most importantly out at competitions or clinics he's great. However at home we have struggled to have productive schooling sessions quite a few times recently because he fixates on something, either in the woods beyond the school, or back on the yard, etc etc, and won't settle and concentrate like he does away from home. Now part of this might be in my head, i am struggling a bit with yard dilemmas as I know that really to progress him to anything like the level he is capable of, I need to look for somewhere with either better hacking or a better school, or preferably both.... But for the time being I am waiting it out as may be a new yard opening I would want to look at, and would just like him to focus at home a bit more in the mean time. The second problem I have is that he can be a moron on the roads, leaping away from random cars and generally throwing his toys out of the pram which in our very roadwork based suburban hacking is a real safety issue.
Food wise he has 1/3 rations of pure easy so nothing to change there - he is better condition/energy wise on this than previous feeds, he is out 16 hours a day on not particularly great grass and then in with a haynet for 6-8 hours during day.
Just wondering if those of you who have used it think it's worth a go?
