This may sound crazy!

Are you more allergic to a certain colour horse?! I've been aware for a long time that one horse in particular made me really allergic but its becoming apparent its a certain colour- Grey! (which is unfortunate as my work bestie is grey!)

Nope, colour doesn't seem to make a difference to me either. I'm less allergic to my own horses than others, presumably because I've spent a longer time building up some kind of immunity ?! :p

Me too.
I'm also slightly worse in spring when they moult, but I guess that makes a bit more sense.

Funny you should say that! I've recently got a grey and have been suffering with really bad allergic reactions. I have been fine with my chestnut..... I put it down to the fact that the grey is moulting like crazy. But perhaps it's her colour. x

Yes me! Greys are the worst for me too. I've got a black and a chestnut at the moment. I seem to build up a tolerance to my own, like some posters above, as I am not as allergic to mine as I can be to some other peoples.

I'm not that bad with horses in general though, it is more cats and dogs for me (of any colour!).

I'm exactly the same. I can cope just taking antihistamines daily when I am doing my own. But doig anything other people's can be a bit of a nightmare, especially if they are moulting. I do have to get somebody to come clip mine for me, as that sets my allergy off (I guess that isn't surprising though!).

I have tended to break out in allergic of spending money since being around horse's, color doesn't seem to make any difference...
