Thought i would share a few pics of my 3 year old "scout" or his show name "take it easy" which he really lives upto.
scout was bought by some friends to bring on and sell but i fell in love so now have him on lwvtb :)
Had a lot of fun with this pony and sure theres more to come.
He does really well at shows, always bein commented on how evenly marked he is and how well behaved he is. When i decided to take him to a show we only had a week to prepare...he wouldnt even trot out inhand.
We are now working on building him up a bit for next show season :)

Massive difference between when he arrived and after you had your paws on him - he looks pretty poor (sorry I know they are friends of yours!) when he arrived but very different now.

Despite always going for big ISH, I have a secret hankering for 1. a Lusitano 2. a proper traditionial cob..!

thats what he looked like when he came from where my friends bought him, the lady they bought him off just roughed him out which he didnt take to well to. He took a while to come round and has turned into a really good doer an has a fab temprament. Took him to a farm up the road to keep a mare company as he is so chilled in the field :)

Scout is so lovely. I'm a new convert to traditional cobs - after struggling with a very stressy TB and being on the point of giving up horses altogether, I was persuaded to go and try a cob and fell in love with my boy Merlin. He is a hairy piebald, with the sweetest nature and I've had him for 18 months now. Can't imagine life without him and am now looking for another cob but slightly bigger for my OH to ride so we can go out together. So if Scout keeps growing and gets to about 15.3 can you please send him down to Somerset?

ive been told he could make over 15 lol i really hope not as im only 5ft 2 ish an he is big to me already. He has his funny quirks but he is everything a cob should be :-)Xx

I dont want to start the Cob debate again but they are so hardy ,great if you work ie at the time I worked full time & as he lives out 24/7, so I had no mucking/turning out.

Great characters too. Good luck, he looks so healthy and young!.
