A sharer here just said to me when I said you have the boots round the wrong way replied * that is how I have always done it, as the pressure is on the middle velcro bit and it is the middle bit that needs to face the back.*
I have always been taught apart from knee boots all straps face the back including this type, as I have seen a horse on a hack through long grass which caught the strap and pulled it back so girl had to get off and Velcro it again.
please note I know I have not put them on tidily as I need to show obviously what she did.
These are the type of boots which have middle velcro sandwich between the plastic outer layer
What is your view on this A ) on the off hind with the plastic outer strap facing the back of the pony and the middle one facing forward
or
B photo. near hind
with the outter strap facing forward and the middle strap facing back
