three wishes for 2014

mine would be 1 for the ponies to be happy and healthy 2 to have a modicum of success in competition and in selling the youngster 3 for everyone who reads this to do a good deed once a week for others doesnt have to cost money just talk to someone lonely or help someone who is struggling in what ever way you can

First that my wrist surgery goes well on Thursday and healing process is fast.

Second to have a happy successful horses

Third that we get a load of decent dry weather!

Mine are that I'll manage to buy my loan horse. He'll continue to build up condition and his digestive system will continue to improve. Annnd we will have an early spring!

I hope that my friend recovers soon from her injury and can ride again.

I hope that another friend finishes her project this year so that she finally has her dream home in time for summer.

I hope that another friend finds a way to finally settle his family into a nice place near to where he wants to be.

I wish that my foot surgery goes well in a few weeks and that I recover quickly enough to start the show season in time.

That both ponies stay happy and healthy.

We have a bit of success in the show ring.

2. I can get Cookie working well with long-lines and eventually in a trap!

3. That my friend gets better luck soon. She's always so positive, but I've noticed a few sad posts on facebook

Gosh: difficult one to summarise hopes & dreams in 3 sentences!!!

1. For friend/yardsharer's mare to get back into work PDQ after being on grass-rest for ages

2. For nearest & dearest (including animals/horses etc) to stay well and happy

3. For my saddle dilemma to somehow get sorted!

1. My broken arm heals as soon as poss so can ride /drive again sadly I don't see that for at least 2 1/2 months.
2. My darling daddy is with me through the year (and mum) after all the bad things happened in the last 2 months
3. No more bad things happen to me I have had enough **** things happen

1- My dad's cancer to go. Which the Dr has told us is not going to happen.
2- Pass my bloody driving test- Buses, a FT job and DIY livery are NOT the best combo.
3- Horse to be well all year round and for Dad to watch me do my first jumping class.

1- my paralyzed arm and hand to start working
2- to be able to walk unaided
Both the above were caused by falling off a mountain bike and suffering a stroke. If I can get movement back I can have my life back which includes riding my gorgeous horse, driving, going back to work etc as currently all of this is out of the question.
If anyone has any experience in how to regain movement In a paralyzes arm & hand due to brain injury please let me know. I've never experienced anything so awful & soul destroying

Mine aren't horsey

1. I wish that my Nan who was taken into hospital last week and is now critically ill wakes up and is able to recover and come home.

2. I wish that my grandad that walked into hospital 9 weeks ago and is now paralysed from the shoulders down continues to improve and is able to walk again.

Two grandparents in hospital at any time is difficult but it seems particularly cruel at this time of year. My family is in pieces, we need them both back with us

Thank you. He's doing really well and nothing's growing anymore, but they've said it won't shrink and they're inoperable (spine, shoulder and forearm). Bless him he'll still help with hay and water even if I tell him off. And we're not even a horsey family. Still, am lucky that he's still here and getting treatment, some aren't so, so I'll count my chickens

LC2013- I have't a clue how to make it better but I wish you all the best
