Err... actually, mort could also be the past participle of the verb mourir. Perhaps you refer to the noun? But which one I ask myself? The masculine or the feminine? It is all incredibly complex you know - language. I feel that people should have a grasp of the English language before they progress on to foreign languages. Just my opinion though.
