Tiny Tot Fancy Dress Ideas

Please could I have some fairly easy-to-make fancy dress ideas for this little pony and the tot on the right...

I was thinking of the pony being a dalmatian and tot being Cruella De-Vil, but not sure how easy to make that will be :? .

So the easier to put together the better!! :D
 
We once went with a Disney theme, my sister was on the pony as the Disney Castle, pony was Mickey Mouse and I was on the ground as a rather grumpy Minnie Mouse :o

A piccy before we went into the class! (this was from years ago hence the rather unattractive clothes!)

Could also go as a Ballet dancer? Tutu around the ponies middle and pink ribbon criss-crossing down her leg like so!

There's "grumpy" and there's GRUMPY!!!:D That made me LOL!

Liking the ballet one, although am thinking that I won't look very good dressed as a ballerina leading the pony!!
 
how about jessie off toystory or pocohntis? excuse spelling.

Or a fairy princess and make pony a unicorn or make him sone wings.

I knew someone wo did alice in wonderland and pony bcame the table for the mad hatters tea party LOL
 
Saw a brilliant one recently, pony wearing green quater sheet, with felt or some other sort of fabric flowers sewn on and the child wearing green, with a sunflower round her face, made from yellow fabric petals.
 
We've done a few - racing stripes, headless horseman, Indian, Wallace & Grommit (child riding as wallace, another leading as Grommit & pony dressed as shaun the sheep!) - this was the best! (Can't put pics on from phone :( ) all were home made
 
I used to do Mary, Mary quite contrary - pretty dress on child, carrying a watering can, blanket over pony covered in flowers, bells, seashells etc - some real some fabric.
Or
Wizard of Oz - pony turned into lion with fake mane and cat muzzle, child in a dress, tin man made out of flowerpots covered in foil, strawman made out of old clothes stuffed with straw, family dog as toto (alterenative version involved making my brother be the straw man :D)
 
We used to do loads!

Once we were a field of crows with scare crow, horse was wheat field, so just a beige sheet shucked over, my brother was scare crow on top, leg and arm ends stuffed with straw, old show jacket over the top, and then straw hat on riding hat, garden cane holding arms out, mum led and was a farmer, and me my sis and some friends were crows, black clothing and orange beaks

Went as a boat once, horse had cardboard boat, with that funny seethrough paper (cant think fo the name) along botton as the sea. Had a fake wheel thing on saddle, and sister and mum were pirates - wouldnt suggest this if you have a grey and it rains, as the green and blue paper stained him for days :P

We did Robin hood, cant remember much, but horse was his noble steed, rider was robin hood, leader another character, and I was fat frier tuck, complete with cushion stuffed up my top :P, Sister was maid marion that was just an array of suitably picked clothing, horse had cardboard bridle bits that made it look ye olde

If you're nifty with a needle, I've seen brilliant little ponies being knight's chargers!

Pony wears a quartered sheet (red and blue seems popular!( with the edging cut into blocks with eye and ear holes so it covers the whole pony. Child wears baggy white trousers, a baggy white shirt and a sleeveless tunic in the same colours and a jousting stick (broom handle) painted with the same colours. You wear all black and carry a shield. Quite easy!

Or she could wear matching hat silk and bright top and have very short stirrups, and be a jockey?
 
This may be in bad taste but you could deck them both out in pink and sparkly stuff, make a huge false chest for the child and she could go as Katy Price!
